Modern Braces Thoughtfully Planned Comfort
Forget everything you think you know about traditional braces! We proudly provide the Damon system, which uses low-force, low-friction technology. This means the pressure on your teeth is gentle and steady, often leading to a more comfortable experience and potentially shorter treatment times. It’s an innovative approach that we offer to make your smile journey much simpler.
Metal Braces vs Clear Braces
Choosing the right kind of braces is an easy decision when you have all the facts. We offer two great options:
- Damon Metal Braces: These are smaller and lower-profile than older metal braces. They use an advanced "self-ligating" technology, meaning there's no need for elastic ties, which helps them work gently to move your teeth.
- Damon Clear Braces: These give you all the benefits of the Damon system but in a much more discreet way. The brackets are clear and blend into your teeth, so people might not even notice you're wearing braces! This is a great choice if you want a less noticeable orthodontic treatment.
We can help you decide which option is best during your consultation.
Braces Reviews
I have nothing but great things to say about all of the staff and care my son received with his braces journey. We were always kept well informed and any questions or concerns were addressed with care. My son’s teeth look amazing!
I took my 12 year old granddaughter to Soni & Snipes to get an orthodonics evaluation. The staff was very professional and helpful. Dr. Snipes put on her top braces after the evaluation. My granddaughter was thrilled, and I was so happy that they worked with us regarding the price since we didn’t have dental insurance. My granddaughter is the second generation that Dr. Snipes has treated. We highly recommend and are anxious to see the results!
Very cool job they did on taking off my daughter’s braces and super clean place
I took my daughter in for a consultation and she left with braces! Every single person we interacted with, was absolutely wonderful. My daughter has severe anxiety when it comes to going into doctor offices or anything similar due to her past medical issues. However, Dr. Soni came over several times throughout the process to check in on her and kept reassuring her she was doing good. I love how they listened to my daughter and her concerns with her smile and they focused the treatment on the most important part to her. I would and will recommend this practice to anyone and everyone!! Please don't ever change!!!Update. She got her braces off today and her teeth are absolutely perfect!! We love Dr. Snipes and Dr. Soni! Also shout out to Kaylee, thank you for being so kind and thoughtful to my daughter and family. You are truly a blessing!!
While getting my braces on they were super informative and very nice! The two women who help with the financial part are also super nice and helpful!!

Frequently Asked Questions
Are braces painful? How do I ease the soreness?
Generally speaking, braces aren’t painful, but it’s completely normal to feel a little soreness or discomfort right after you get them, and sometimes after adjustments. This is temporary! You can easily relieve this by rinsing with a warm saltwater solution or taking an over-the-counter pain reliever. We’ll also give you dental wax that can help ease any irritation on your lips, cheeks, or tongue in the first few weeks.
How long will I have to wear my braces?
Every smile is different, so treatment time varies by individual. Most patients complete their braces treatment in 12 to 24 months. We can give you a personalized estimate when we first start, and we’ll have an even clearer idea a few months into your journey.
What about cost? Are braces affordable?
We never want the cost of a beautiful smile to be a source of worry. The price depends on the specific braces you choose and the length of your treatment. We offer flexible payment plans to fit your budget, and our team is happy to work with your insurance to make sure you get the most out of your benefits. Check our FAQs for more information on coverage and affordability.
What about alternatives?
We understand that braces aren't for everyone. We also offer Invisalign® aligners, which are clear, removable aligners that can treat most common orthodontic issues for teens and adults. We’ll help you explore all your treatment options to find the one that feels right for you.
How do I take care of my braces?
Proper care is a simple process. Before brushing, rinse with water to loosen any food. Then, brush carefully around the gum line and the brackets, making sure the bristles get under the wires. Flossing is super important, too! We’ll show you the exact technique to perfect your cleaning routine during your first appointment.
What foods should I avoid with braces?
Protecting your braces is key! You should avoid foods that are super sticky (like caramel), very hard (like whole apples or hard candy), or overly chewy. But don’t worry—we’ll give you a simple list, and you can still enjoy things like apples and corn on the cob by simply cutting them up first.
You're In Good Hands
Once your braces treatment is complete, we’ll help you ensure your beautiful results last forever with a retainer. You can learn more about orthodontic retainers on our site. Remember, we’ve thoughtfully planned your whole journey to be smooth and comfortable.
